What is the Work of a Process Server?

In order to fulfill the court's notice requirements, the process server...  Distributes documents and notifications in person.  Serves subpoenas related to legal proceedings.  Ensures that all subpoena logs and certificates of service are up to date and accurate.  Assembles all necessary legal paperwork, correspondence, and progress reports.
